Breakfast Church… What’s that?

Breakfast Church is a new way of “doing church” for those who might be too busy, not sure, not keen on going into a church … or just want to try something new. It’s ideal for families. It’s gathering together, having fun and exploring faith in an accessible way.

We start off eating and chatting as you arrive- choosing from a selection of continental style breakfast items on offer, and after that there are a variety of craft activities on the theme of the day. We will gather together for a fun interactive themed bible story and then an action prayer and song to end our session. Breakfast is available from 9:00am and we will finish the gathering together story, song and prayer around 10:30am. We recognise that everyone comes with a different experience, understanding or feelings about faith and church. You are welcome to listen or join in as much as you feel comfortable with.

There is no charge, yet donations towards the cost of food and resources are welcome if you are able to contribute. If you would like to let us know you’re coming in advance email office@stourdowns.org.uk or alternatively you are most welcome to come along on the day.
