Hot Lips and Cold War: film of a musical created by local resident Lizzie Freeborn

In Hot Lips & Cold War fact and fiction merge to show what life at the White House might have been like in the JFK era when Marilyn Monroe was on the scene. Set against the backdrop of the national and international stage, at the time taut with the strains of potential conflict, tensions, fears, loyalties and love in the Kennedy household are brought together in an excellent performance by nine real and fictional characters. Live performances of the musical at the London Theatre Workshop received five star reviews. With supper included in the ticket price this is an evening not to be missed.

Tickets £10 – to include pasta supper and pudding.  Tickets available from Kathy Embleton-Smith (kmbakersmith@gmail.com), Charles Sinden (01303-812608), Tony Crouch (01303-813275)
